It feels like ages since I've been here, not sure where the Summer has gone but definitely not complaining about the fab weather we have had. Today's forecast might be for rain but we can all have sunshine on TV with our lovely Julie Hickey hosting 3 shows on Create and Craft at 10am, 4pm and 7pm. Plump up the cushions and settle down for the shows or set the recorder so you don't miss any of the amazing products, new things too, from Craftwork Cards. Good luck Julie and have 3 wonderful shows!
Now, on to some Candi matters, I've been having a little play with some of the beautiful new Candi colours and today have used marshmallow, pistachio and icing sugar and cards with beautiful fancy edging, a chalkboard sentiment, a pretty time flies sorbet butterfly and some matching sentiments and that's it - plain and simple. I've used Candi folded in half to make a border around one card, scrunched up with some folded to make little blossoms and leaves and used more to make some little
Candi five petal blooms.
The little birds on the tree card (my vety weak effort at drawing a tree!!) are just two of the punched out 'waste' from the card border! And on the bow on this card I have spiral cut a piece of Candi to form a tiny rose for the centre of the bow, tricky but worth the effort. Here's what I've made on my Candi play today, hope you enjoy and look forward to seeing what you are all making with Candi at the moment, email@example.com.
Enjoy the weekend and keep happy, smiling and crafting
