Love is in the Air.......

Morning everyone and happy Monday!

Hope this finds you all happy and jumping for joy at the 'teasing' that our lovely Karen is doing with all the new tunnel cards and mini kits on the web site  http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/products/whats-new.html and what about those papers, I for one just can't wait for them to come along so we can order and start to play!

Anyway, on to the matter in hand, today it's LOVE!  With Valentine's Day just a couple of weeks away, I wanted to show you a couple of cards made by two of our lovely fans, Ali Wiseman and Karen Petitt and also a couple made by myself.

Ali has made a card for her hubby Dale,  (shhhhh, he doesn't know yet!!) using lots from her Craftwork Cards stash (I believe it's very, very large - again Dale doesn't know!!!).  She has used basic card stock and matted and layered with gold miricard and beautiful pink and white paper, two craft birds which have been covered with a lovely deep pink paper and the piece de resistance, those little Sweetheart  Candi wings and pearl eyes, a really fab idea that I will definitely be 'borrowing'!!  A beautiful gold frame and sentiment add the finishing touches resulting in the beautiful card below.

Karen has made great use of fab red Candi on her card, she hasn't told me who the lucky recipient will be but suffice to say they must be very special to deserve the amount of Candi that she has used to create a large heart which she has placed on a glitter background.  Whoever the lucky person is, I'm sure they'll be very happy!

Here are a few I have made using a mix of papers, Candi, basic card stock and embossed papers - all from Craftwork Cards.  The Candi on the large heart has been squashed (great exercise for the fingers!!) and then used upside down to give a flowery/pettaly effect (idea 'borrowed' from one of my lovely team colleagues!).  Stamps, and embellishments from my stash.

Hope you have enjoyed seeing what your fellow Craftwork Cards enthusiasts have made, if you would like to send me pics of any 'love' themed cards you have made using CWC products, I would love to see them, cardsandcandi@hotmail.co.uk

Keep happy, smiling and of course CRAFTING!

Big hugs...........
